Alpha Epsilon Delta accepts new undergraduate members year round
and applications can be picked up in the Pre-health advising office
in the FSU College of Medicine on the west end of campus. You may
turn applications into the president's mail box in the Pre-health
advising office, room 408, at the College of Medicine.
We do require that an overall and science GPA of at least 3.2
be upheld at all times. Membership dues are $40 per year to cover
the cost of logo shirts and social events. Dues will be collected
at the first and second meetings of the year.
We accept students at freshmen, sophomore, junior, and senior
levels, however, in order to attend the spring induction ceremony,
eligible candidates (sophomores, juniors and seniors) must accumulate
15 points each semester for two semesters
before consideration for Active Membership status can be made.
Points are awarded on a basis of 1 point for 2 hours of service.
After being inducted, members need to earn 10 points per year to
stay an active member.
If you are already actively volunteering or helping out with other
service events not set up through us, bring us verification (like
your servscript form), details about the event, and the hours you've
worked so that we can give you credit for those hours.
If you have any questions or concerns about any of the requirements
(such as having class during meeting times) please send us an email
and communicate your concern and/or need.
