relay for life at fsu
Relay for Life is a team fundraising event where team members take turns walking around a designated path. FSU's event lasts 20 hours and each team is asked to have a member on the track at all times to signify that cancer never sleeps. Our team sets up a themed campsite at the event and continues to fundraise at the event by collecting donations for food, goods, games, and activities! This year's Relay for Life event takes place April 20th to April 21st. If you are interested in participating, please click the link below to sign-up with our team!
Type 1 Diabetes (T1D) is an auto-immune disease that affects all age levels; it has nothing to do with the patients lifestyle or diet. There is no cure for this disease. Those with T1D have to constantly monitor their blood sugar levels and diet for the rest of their life. JDRF is the leading global organization funding T1D research. Every year, JDRF holds a fundraising event that helps people living with T1D live a safer and healthier life, until it is no longer a threat.
