Welcome to the Florida Beta Chapter of Alpha Epsilon Delta (AED) at Florida State University!
As a distinguished national pre-health honor society, Alpha Epsilon Delta (AED) is committed to recognizing and fostering excellence among students pursuing careers in healthcare. We are so excited to welcome you to a community of students who share a passion for healthcare and a desire to make a difference in the lives of others.
AED is more than just a pre-health organization. It is a place where you can meet people who understand the challenges, excitement, and uncertainty that can come with pursuing a career in healthcare. Whether you are preparing for medical school, nursing school, a physician assistant program, or another healthcare profession, we want AED to be a place where you feel supported, encouraged, and connected throughout your journey.
Our chapter is built around community. We believe that pursuing a career in healthcare does not have to be a journey you take alone. Through our meetings, events, volunteer opportunities, and other activities, we hope to give you opportunities to learn, grow, and build lasting friendships with students who share many of the same goals and aspirations.
As a chapter, we are also committed to looking beyond our own academic and professional goals. We strive to deepen our understanding of healthcare while giving back to the communities around us. Through service and involvement, we hope to help our members become not only successful healthcare professionals, but compassionate individuals who are prepared to make a meaningful difference in the lives of others.
